What we do for Pain Treatment

Screening Department

At the first step we do a professional spine scan , include:

Posture screen : This device performs posture exams and a comparative report of an individual’s posture. It can accurately measure angles and distances of posture displacements to detect any postural faults and imbalances of one’s body.

Foot and spine scan : Foot and spine scans are important in diagnosing the source of one’s pain. These appliances provide detailed images of the feet and spine and measures the pressure and weight distribution. This medical device will provide a report and compares those images to a healthy spine and feet. This allows for practitioner to identify any problems regarding with the feet or the spine based on how one stands or walks.

Muscle testing by advanced surface EMG- EMG is short for electromyography. This technique detects for electric signals produced by skeletal muscles during muscle contractions. The signals are recorded and can then be analysed to identify any medical abnormalities of an individual’s nerves or muscles.
Musculoskeletal Ultrasound : This medical technique uses sound waves to depict images of muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints throughout the body. This is a safe, non-invasive procedure that is used to help diagnose sprains, strains, tears, and other musculoskeletal conditions.

CLA neurotech system: This system is a combination of electromyography, thermography, and neuroPULSE to comprehensively perform spinal-neural examinations. This medical software assesses the overall activity of the autonomic nervous system as it detects and records stress levels and real-time reactions that occur within the spinal nerves.

Thermography:
Thermographic cameras are used to see individuals’ variation in temperature. This is a non-invasive and painless procedure that helps to detect any abnormal distributions of body heat throughout the body.

Manual Therapy

Our experts will manually treat you with painless and easy techniques that will leave you pain free and in a state of complete comfort. Manual therapy is the art of healing in which specific body muscles and other joints are manipulated to remove the adverse effects of disease and other pain symptoms. It is one of the most easiest and simple forms of therapy which focuses on overall health and welfare of the patients. The primary catch for this treatment is that it is a manually driven treatment which is done by the therapist.

Myofacial release :This technique treats skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles. Fascia is a thin, tough connective tissue that wraps around most structures within the human body. When the tissue becomes restricted, overuse, or inactive, it will often result in pain and diminished blood flow.

Massage therapy: This type of therapy manipulates the muscles and other soft tissues of the body. This is used to relieve pain, reduce stress, increase relaxation, address anxiety and depression, and aid in general wellness.

Muscle energy technique: This is a form of manual therapy that uses gentle muscle contractions of the patient to relax and lengthen muscles and normalize joint motion. This is often used to patients who suffer from muscle spasms. Lengthening shortened or spastic muscles will help to improve range of motion.
Spinal decompression and traction: This type of therapy assesses the reaction of one’s body when forces are applied to the spine. In a spinal traction procedure, a traction table is used to pull on the spine. The body will then react by tightening up the muscles allowing the spine to heal properly.  In a spinal decompression assessment, how much force the body is pulling back with is measured

Mobilization : With the use of mobilization, it involves a slower movement of a joint or muscles in a specific direction.
Manipulation: By using their hands, the practitioners will apply pressure on muscle tissues and orchestrate the joints through measured movements of speed, force, and distances. Manipulation involves a quick, small thrust to a joint or muscles to provide immediate pain relief and improved mobility

Huber Spine Force Machine

This device provides exercise therapy to individuals. This is proven to be an effective method for lower back pain treatment. Patients stand on a moving platform and use handlebars to achieve various exercises and improvements in balance and coordination.

Laser therapy: This is a non-invasive technique that involves the application of low power light to increase the speed, quality, and strength of tissue repair, resolve inflammation, and reduce pain. Low level laser technology is found to be safer than medication, used to target a specific area, provides faster healing, and is safe for the skin.
Weight loss: Being overweight can put a lot of stress to one’s musculoskeletal system as the body is not familiar with the excess amount of weight. By being more active and eating a healthier diet, losing weight will help relieve the stress on one’s joints and muscles.

Electrotherapy: This type of therapy requires the use of electrical energy to reduce pain, improve circulation, repair tissues, strengthen muscles, and promote bone growth. This technique involves a device with wires attached to adhesive electrode pads that can be placed on the skin of the patient. Once the electrodes are attached, mild electric current is sent to the skin through the electrodes.

Orthotic Therapy

This type of therapy involves creating customizable orthotics to help align the foot and ankle into the optimum position for efficiency and comfort. This is designed to help correct foot imbalances and alleviate pain and strain on your body. Orthotic therapy is commonly used to reduce foot pain, arch/heel pain, leg/knee pain, and hip and back pain.
